Overview of itinerary
Arrival at Guwahati station/airport and transfer to Shillong. Visit the Umiam Lake, Sylvan hills during the journey. After check-in to the hotel and freshen up. Stay at Shilong.
Today is Shilong day tour. After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village that is credited for being the cleanest village in Asia, visit Living Root Bridge and watch the natural balancing rock & Indo-Bangladesh Border. Later proceed to Dawki and Umngot River. Overnight stay at Shilong.
Checkout from the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Cherrapunji – the wettest place on earth. On the way visit Mawkdok Valley, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
After breakfast, checkout from Cherrapunji hotel and head towards Guwahati. On the way visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Ward’s Lake, and Cathedral Catholic Church. After reaching Guwahati, visit the Alfresco Cruise Ride that will take you to the middle of River Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and visit Maa Kamakhya Temple. Then you will be transferred to Guwahati airport/railway station.
